Hi. I would ring the skinny help desk first, but they close at 5:30pm. At the moment I can't send texts. My phone says text failed to send. My daughter has the same problem. Anyone else on skinny having this problem? We have both turned our phones off and taken the battery and sim out for 10 minutes too. We both topped up with $20 on Sunday.

Is the message centre number correct on these handsets?

I can vouch for 4 customers including me, this problem started around lunchtime and is still a problem. Some texts go straight through, then others will not even if tried 10 times, BUT after multiple attempts sometimes go through to the recipient once BUT always says sending failed on the handset.

When I put +64 in front of number it works. I don't know why or how it makes it work

Hi.  My apologies for the inconvenience that this is causing.  Our engineers implemented a fix overnight and texts are now going through.  It is an intermittent problem and not impacting all customers and not all texts so they are now looking deeper into the texting platform to check for any secondary issues.
