My MF636 T-Stick seems to get quite warm and discharges my netbook battery much quicker than when not using the T-Stick.

Don't have any times or usage figures.... Just seems hungry on power usage.

T-Stick communicates ok.

Is that to be expected?

Cheers

My first ever AM radio network connection was with a 1MHz AM crystal(OA91) radio receiver.

They can get quite warm especially when there is heavy usage combined with poor / average signal strength. Without knowing your exact specs its hard to say if its normal or not. My laptop running a tstick on battery lasts about 2 hours on battery save mode before laptop dies
