Since telecom is a offical carrier when is Telecom going to show the XT logo instead of Telecom NZ

Does Apple allow a logo in there? I'm not aware of any operators worldwide that have a logo in the bar.

I remember reading on iPhone new zealand I think with iOS 3 you could do that but believe the ability has been taken away. I could be wrong tho.

Vodafone don't get their logo up there either and they have been an "official" carrier for much longer. I get "Voda NZ" on mine. The iOS is not customised for each carrier in any other respect so I wouldn't be holding my breath. Mind you that's what makes the iPhone so popular (to many)...1 standard for all. Makes it much easier and simpler to control the software environment such as for updates and to ensure compatibility.







Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation
