We're leaving home and heading into CBD and checking in to SO.

Will txt ya Steve and catch up at SO.

To everyone else coming tonight, do wrap up in warm clothes! It'll be cold and don't want you all to get hypothermia!

The plan for after the pizzas is heading into a sports bar (at this moment Holy Grail) for the rugby game. So hopefully we can head off and move into CBD at/around 7pm-ish.

We'll meet at SO around 5pm probably and take a free ride bus shuttle from the Colombo st and head near/toward casino and a fair bit of walk to Spags.

Most importantly is to wear enough to keep warm!

Ectes: Bah. And I planned to walk there from Riccarton tonight. Might have to change my plans now. Stupid weather

If you're in Riccarton you can catch a ride with us, we are at the Riccarton Mall (well beside it anyway), shoot me a PM if interested.

Hi,

I'm out in Greers Road (Bryndwr) is there anyone out that way? I would have taken the bus, but apparently they have been taken off the road due to the ice/snow.

I'm picking up someone in Avonhead on the way, so you're just around the corner...

Be there about 4:45ish.

Email me a cell number and your address and I'll pick ya up.

Still got one seat spare for folks out this side of town if you're stuck for a sober ride...

Thanks for the great evening folks. Thanks to the sponsors, JOBX, Microsoft, PC Gear and many others especially 3bit for putting up the extra bar tab. Without them I guess these events aren't able to go on. Again thanks to Geekzone for the thriving community that it is. Good to put a face on a name. I did have my face on my avatar but it's too ugly to be left on there, might break your screen lol.

I had to shoot off early as weather is getting real bad, hope you guys enjoy the rest of your evening in Christchurch.

Seconded.

Cheers everyone, was a great night, great to finally meet you all and hope to do it again. Though maybe in the summer?

Hi All,

It was a good night, nice to meet you all, and look forward to doing it again..... BBQ or similar at the Groynes or Spencer Park with some sunshine sounds like a goer...

Nick.

I want also to give my thanks to Mauricio, the staff and members of GeekZone and the sponsors.  It was an enjoyable night.

For those who work in the IT industy in the Chch area that would like to do this on a more regular basis, there is always The Valley In Christchurch group which meets every month for a meal.  See http://groups.google.com/group/tvic for more info.

It was great meeting you all, especially Christchurch Geekzone members!

We had a good night out. First out at the Carlton bar to catch up on the All Black vs Springboks games. Good to see that All Blacks won 19:8!!!

Many thanks to the sponsors like 3Bits, JobX, PC Gears and Microsoft. This has been an awesome night and looking forward to many more in the near future too!

Hasting event is not far either so make sure you all get a chance to get to that one. I do hope we can get to that too!

Thanks to everyone who attended and sponsored this event!

It was great to see so many of you there - some flying and driving from outside Christchurch.

We will see you again in our Geekzone Pizza Hawkes Bay!
