Yes, it lists two tickets for you, under the same order. I wonder if Eventbrite lists just one ticket per order on that page.

cisconz: Interesting, mine didn't come up, but I have a confirmed guest ticket, and that there are no guests for Wellington

I don't understand the point of guest tickets. Why wouldn't you just sign them up to geekzone, then buy a normal ticket for them. There's no minimum number of posts this year, is there?

They might like it and stick around.

I will make it clear then: this would be cheating.

Now for the long version This year I've decided to use Eventbrite, for two reasons: not having to code all the registration forms, like in previous years, and to have a turnkey solution for registration fees.

Now, most people would consider what you are suggesting, but for sake of being good Geekzone citizens and recognising that we want to be as inclusive as we can get, they would understand this is an event for Geekzone users, but sometimes said users have friendsor partners that would like to attend, and seriously would not consider registering on Geekzone just to save themselves $13.

Guest tickets work well, for example, with my partner.  She has no interested in being a member here but wants to come to the pizza events - saves me having to register her for no reason.

I take it you'd frown on scalping tickets on TradeMe then... [/endstir]

Yep sure do!

Does the pizza Parlour turn into a B&B after hours or are you warning me not to eat there in case Gary wants to poison me?
