It is what it is. If one blocks scripts don't expect scripts to work. And I won't spend time chasing a problem that is highly dependent on one's configuration.

You solved the problem: disable the editor in your profile.

I ran into this a long time ago. I prefer to use Word for all my typing rather than learn each individual editor used by different fora (that's as far as my Latin goes). Then I cut and paste. I added a few custom bits to iron out some compatibility issues and it worked well until I encountered Geekzone. Eventually I remembered my early HTML and set up a find and replace to turn line feeds into the code used here (letters br enclosed in brackets ). Now I just type, hit the replace button, cut and paste. It works well for me.
