They aren't "ignored". This can happen if you copy and paste from an editor such as Word or from another web page with their own formatting. In these cases you can just edit the post and press ENTER where you want the breaks.

for me the problem is on internet explorer, and it is very very random, out of the blue, usually when i am in a great hurry.

I guess not, but posts typed in Chrome for Facebook, tumblr, blog comments, XYZ site, all IME retain basic formatting like line breaks, which are instead converted to spaces by the Geekzone editor.

And yes - I always use a script blocker, but it has enabled all detected scripts for this page. If you are going to run software that tampers with the content the developer intended, then you cant really expect sympathy when it totally screws up the operation of the site.

Would you complain to microsoft if windows didnt work after you randomly deleted half the dll files?

TinyMCE is being affected, at the very least. Try turning off your script blockers and have another go.

Ok, it seems there is no way to have Geekzone work with ScriptSafe. It simply doesn't see the javascript used by Geekzone for it's editor. Though why it cannot process plain text properly as a fallback, is beyond me.

Update: a quick google search shows this is a known problem with TinyMCE and script blockers. It fails to handle script blockers correctly and makes a hash of things.
