Some threads are slow, taking 5s to load the page plus a little time to load the static resources. Others are faster, taking only 1s. Generally fine here on 2deg fiber.
Also noticed some slowness, on Spark VDSL, as well
Page 1 of this thread is slow to load but page 2 is ok

+1 for reponsiveness issues... its like pushing you foot on the gas and waiting 2 seconds for the gear to kick down and boom.... page loads.
VF ADSL and using Safari with average (usually guranteed to get) speeds of 15Mbps showing via speedtest over wifi (lots of the neighborhood converted to fibre whilst I muck about sorting my internal cabling... long term project and getting closer by the day to fruition).
It shouldn't be this bad now... Anyway, in the last few days I've done some database cleanup (removed a couple of unused indexes, which should make posting replies faster), changed the parallel execution of queries, upgraded the virtual machines Integration Services (after this thread started) and a few other disk-related things.
See how it goes.

I think it is Cloudflare right now. Noticed it with many sites that have Cloudflare in front of it. Still though, running a tonne better.
Thanks @freitasm!

The LinkedIn script wasn't the culprit. I actually tweaked it a bit and using again. I am fine-tuning the database server and changing the settings for parallel query execution - trying to find the balance between processes executing in parallel but not having lots of parallel executions that might wait for others. I have changed the value again today and it seems page loads are back to the previous levels, without the process waiting that I've seen before. Will continue to monitor.
