Both myself and @PeterReader got a notification, as expected.

The OP is talking about receiving a notification when @ mentioning himself.

@AndrewNZ, sorry didn't get any extra notifications, only the ones I expected. Could possibly have been a glitch in the matrix - I've checked the code and it's pretty straightfoward...

My try

Just "turned it off and back on again"

Still getting them.

Ah well, how often do you quote yourself.
I should have used a mention rather than a quote in the first place.

@freitasm I wonder if it is case sensitive. When @Taubin quoted, it was @Taubin in the quote.

EDIT: Hmmm, it changed on me during posting. One had a capital T, one lower case.

Nah, I think @freitasm won't be notified. It must be some weird stuff going on.

Try quoting this one @Freitasm

It's a case sensitivity issue.

My case correct username doesn't generate emails to myself.

Any other version does.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to explain with @taubin above.

Looks like the notifications were going through when it had a lower case t, but not with capital T.
