So I just quoted a post containing my mention, and got an email saying I'd mentioned me.

I thought mentions weren't supposed to work in quotes.

They do. They aren't supposed to notify oneself though. What post was it, link please?

@AndrewNZ, sorry didn't get any extra notifications, only the ones I expected. Could possibly have been a glitch in the matrix - I've checked the code and it's pretty straightfoward...

I had the same issue once. I think it might be related to when a 3rd party quotes replies.

Did the BDFL get a notification from this?
