I have removed another two scripts from our pages (one script was not being used for subscribers so those wouldn't notice it).

uBlock rips out GA for me anyway so I suspect I won't notice a difference, but nice work on removing it, more accurate ways of getting that data these days.
Are you using uBlock or uBlock Origin? One is bad, the other is ok.
I have removed more scripts from Geekzone. A plain page now will have at most a couple of scripts for subscribers, one or two more for non-subscribers/non-logged in visitors.
Overall it seems I've shaved about 20% of the page load time.

Sorry yes uBlock Origin (I think that's the ok one, ok in terms of load time not in terms of supporting ad-sponsored content)

Today I have made another change. It is a big step as it is a departure from our traditional mindset in collecting website analytics by removing the Google Analytics code from our pages.
I completely support this decision. We don't need the evil 10^100 spying on our every move.
Geekzone now appears to be usable on my phone, without having to wait ~10 seconds after every single page load to be able to do anything.
