Pretty sure I have used Geekzone going on 14 years now. First as a lurker when doing research for which mobile phone provider to use when I first visited New Zealand, and later on posting as I was doing research before moving from Norway to New Zealand.
It is a great resource and community to be a part of. I have also been lucky enough to get to meet some of the great Geekzoners and gotten help from many here. Hopefully I have helped out a few as well.
Thank you Mauricio for creating such a great community, and for all the work you do to make sure it has stayed that way! I know that doesn't happen by itself.

Thank you Mauricio and Geekzone, this site has been my "go to" for 14 years or so.
Congratulations
I would also like to add to the well deserved congrats. I see I started in Oct 2007 and I would login now several times a day to see what is going down.
Cheers and best wishes.
Congratulations @freitasm and thank you to you and the mod team. It's a rare thing to build a online community that lasts 20 years and spills over to irl.
Geocities or MySpace, anyone? I'm sure they had bigger budgets.

Happy birthday GZ and thank you freitasm and the mod team for running this place.
I'm pretty grateful for this place and getting to know the people that I know now and getting into a place where I can use my knowledge gained from here and give back to the community.
Cheers to all.

Many thanks Mauricio... Geekzone has been such a great help to me 😀

My first ever AM radio network connection was with a 1MHz AM crystal(OA91) radio receiver.
Congrats on a great site. Any screenshots from 2003 and the evolution of the site to now?
Thanks and congratulations Mauricio. A great idea in the first place and thanks for all your hard work, plus moderators, to keep us all in line and keeping it going for 20 years - pretty amazing in this day and age.
A HUGE thanks and congratulations Mauricio. Of course we must not forget the Moderators and everyone who has contributed to this world class tech forum.
Prior to returning home from Aussie I was a member of MacTalk Australia (2006-2014). This is now a defunct Mac Tech Talk forum and GeekZone has well and truly out lived that tech forum.
Cheers 🍷🍻
Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.
