tomgeeknz: Any chance of a notification number in the page title (like twitter when there is a new tweet) even if it is only for the forum posts?

Will look into it...

boby55: Auto update of the latest posts on the main page would be awesome!

We could possibly keep it static for non-logged in page views, and switch to an automatic mode if logged in...

The "friends" showing what posts they had made only takes you to the thread, not to the specific post.

And if it were me I would say it would be nice to have only monitoring certain forums (checkbox in the main forums to say "display in live" so you can cut down the forums you want to read.

Now, that's an interesting idea...

Yeah just live update if you are logged in would be great, or maybe even just subscribed - might make a lot more people subscribed?

Should we put Geekzone PMs on the page as well, perhaps before the News?

Can we have the name of the person who made the last fourm post?
Id say this is more useful than who started the thread if its a space issue....

it would be great to select threads as "Watch in Live" and then live would show maybe the last two posts and roll over as each new post on that thread came in.

Any posts are personal comments and not that of my employer

Probably not possible per threads, but on a per forum basis, as discussed before. I thought about the rollover showing new posts just before and might implement that.

Also will add a checkbox to show all discussions or just the watched forums...
