freitasm: I debated about giving out the prizes and decided not to. I will be holding those for Christchurch later. We will have something there, just have to decide when and where, when things settle down.


Fair enough, I made no assumptions that the event was not going ahead.  Looks like I will be legitimately be able to go after all, I look forward to meeting you all in the near future!!

Although a get together would be nice, I think there are far greater priorities in Christchurch right now.

Dear CHCH Geekzone people... due to the postponement of GZPECHC11 that was to happen on 19th March, @BigHammerNZ (Stu) and I have set up a Tweetup on Friday 18th March.

It is Fish+Chips in the park tweetup, details at http://twtvite.com/c9tenw, this is in hope we can catch up and meet up at a suitable park somewhere... This opens to all CHC Tweeps and GZers, so there may be chances that there'll be many unknown faces - the thing you expected with tweetup anyhow.
