The counted +1s were only received by one user, so it shouldn't be plural.

I was just thinking it should be listed as

+1 received from users: 80

rather than the current

+1 received by user: 80


Assuming it fits ?

I can see both phrases relating to both outlined instances however I agree that there is a stronger argument for "received by user" being related to more site wide activities.
