It's now six months since we implemented the [+1] voting button in our forums...

On another note our users have so far exchanged 262,645 PMs. We sent out 7,495,000 email notifications to our users in the last 36 months (an average of 7,000 email notifications every day).

The +1 is a cool little button. How hard would it be to make it like a facebook like button? As in display the users that support the post. Or is the aim to be slightly more anonymous?

I thought of making it anonymous so people feel free to support views even if they were not "mainstream".

I am thinking of creating a private list of posts users supported with +1 in their profile page...

Do you have a Top5 list for :

  • +1
  • Topics created
  • Topic replies
for each month?

Are there prizes / gifts for the top user each month, 6months or 1year?

..... Excluding Mods :)

I wonder if I'm one of the top "+1ers" - seems like many people aren't using it at all

Is there a function to see the total number of +1's I have?

Well, I don't think I've done 258... but I don't think I've made 3200 posts either!

Would you display the +1 totals on the left :

it could be good for street cred? :)

You mean number of [+1] received? Yes, that would be a lot of pull in rap.

yeah that would be awesome!
having 10,000 posts is good but having 5000+1's or 9,000+1's would show quality of your posts

How about a list of the top 10 (most active) users on Geekzone for this year? :)
