Definitely need to wait till after things settle down before putting down a date.

At this point in time I'm free on 25th September. Will put this event back in my calendar and hope I don't get re-rostered in the meantime :-)

Would be dependant on the venue if they could accommodate us within any number limits

Wow! That would be a massive blow to me if Brew Union were to close, not to mention those whose livelihoods would be affected. I really feel for the hospitality industry in these uncertain times.

Hey folks, apologies for the radio silence on this from me! I had adopting a bit of wait-and-see approach with alert levels/restrictions, but as it is nearly half-way through September (!), and with some prompting from @jonathan18, it is time to act before this year runs out!

Firstly, above the alert levels, are we all happy for this to go ahead at this current time?

Secondly, in terms of dates, I had earlier mentioned the 25th of September, but since this is only 1.5 weeks away, it might be a bit too soon for some to organize, so I reckon looking at Saturday 2nd October, or the weekend after on the 9th? I have enquired with Brew Union about the 2nd, and they have a large booking at 6pm, so we would potentially need to start earlier, depending on how long we were planning on staying.

I also confirmed with them about restrictions, and at the current alert level, the only restrictions are around being seated as a group in the restaurant.

Either of the October dates are fine for me. Looking forward to a beer with company.

I should be good with the 2nd but will be away on the 9th, but noting the venue's current bookings totally understand if that means I miss out!

Not a lot of responses at this current time, so I wonder if we might need to push this out a few weeks.

I'll consult with my EA and see what the state of the calendar is looking like for October(!), then I'll start soliciting feedback

Hey folks, apologies for more radio silence! Unfortunately with a wedding upcoming + work + infant, I have been pressed for bandwidth.

Looking at dates, I think it will be slim pickings for November; pretty much the 19th/20th is only available to me.

Moving into December though, my calendar frees up, and I think I am good for most weekends.

Any advances on those dates?

19th/20th suits me, moving into December traditionally gets busier with Xmas parties but maybe won't be as bad this year.
