I've jumped on the supporter bandwagon. Geekzone has provided immense value and entertainment to me over the years.
Thank you, and everyone else!

Another quarter, another Xero price increase. While our ad revenue goes down, our costs continue to increase.
Please remember to subscribe, or if you wish to upgrade to a lifetime subscription, contact me.
You can also donate (not a subscription) through PressPatron.
As always, thanks for being part of our community.

I remember when Xero was so cool I had people making unsolicited offers on my Xero branded clothing.
I'll get a lifetime subscription, I've been on here for (checks) 40% of my lifetime already.
Thank you, folks.

Not sure if this is too OT, but @freitasm - why not charge for some specific features of the site? The one that springs to mind (and I would be more than happy to pay for) is selling items. The value I get from dealing with people here when selling (and buying!) is something I would be happy to pay for.
Note sure of what others think, and I know you have to compare with Trademe fees. I am going to throw this out there - happy to be challenged. $1 per item listed, cheaper than trademe, easy to pay for, cheap enough to not turn people off.

That's an idea, and there are certainly some people making it an active revenue for them (there are very active users that only ever posted in the Offers/Wanted).
This is a good option. Or another option could be that only subscribers can post a new topic, and non-subscribers are allowed to reply to it.
Some coding, but it's an idea.
