Hamilton - but I work weekends anyways and getting time off means booking months ahead. I am trying to look at job opportunities in Wellington but doubt at this close notice whether anything would coincide (interview wise).

Thats a shame that you cant make it. Im sure getting down here and handing out business cards at this get together could produce a lead or two though?

Its all about social networking :-)

oriental parade is a nice walk along the foreshore, and then go south up cuba street.
it's less than a kilometre, about $5 in taxi if it's raining.

You can walk there - up Cambridge Tce and then right into Vivian St then right into Cuba St. Probably around 8 bocks. But you can drive and park - the car park (paid) is large and just a couple of metres of the bar. Actually Imbibe is in the car park.

Driving directions are different, because Vivian St is wrong way from Cambridge, but you'll see on the map on Wises.

taniwha: (disenchanted: it's just around the corner from Deaf Club, so bring the Mrs.)

My g/f is coming to Wellington, but not to the GZ get together :-( She is going to shop herself to near-death, and stay well away from anything Geek related. (She doesnt understand our culture LOL). I told her it was 100% informal, and just regular people getting together to meet and drink and eat and talk and laugh, but she -knows- the conversation will turn tech.

So I am a definite tick on the list.
