Yes... That problem occurred if you were previously logged in, not using the option to remain logged in, and we read the last visit date from the database. It should be fixed now.

I tried to login via my e63 today with no success, the login button does not work, then the links on the age just freeze. Maybe it's loading but the phone didn't show a loading sign. I waited 2 minutes and gave up.

We are using SSL now for logins and I've noticed a couple of handsets don't have the Comodo Root Certs. This can cause problems.

I see, ill have a play later today. Maybe a warning for handsets could be great =] although from my experience mobiles aren't great over SSL.

SSL is only used for login - the site itself will never show a SSL-encrypted page. Also, it could be your mobile provider. Mobile networks are not well known for reliability...

freitasm:
allstarnz: so does this mean better tracking of 'new posts'?

I found when going between home and work it'd often have new posts being only very new posts. To the point where i'd just look at todays posts instead.

No, it doesn't change how we track "new posts". If we did change on a per-browser basis then you would read some posts here on Saturday and Sunday, just to see all those set as "new posts" when opening your browser in the office on Monday morning.

The "new posts" flag remains an account state.

What has changed is what I posted above.

Hi,

Not sure if this is related to the above comments but  after reading GZ posts over the weekend   I found when I got to work  there were 3 pages of new posts mostly stuff I had read over the weekend.  Same when I got home tonite, all todays posts were shown as new ..

Is this going to be normal??

Regards,

Old3eyes
