you should use your user_id, the integer from the geekzone database. - it'll make us more normalised.

the lower the int, the more l337 you are.

Jama: Do we have to wear 'alias' name badges?

lol i was just wondering how many people could potentially say 'yes' if someone wanders over and says

"Are you disenchanted?" ...... "Why actually, yes, now that you mention it, i have been lately, what about you?"

:-)

I'd love to come along.. I have just landed a contract which pays too much but keeps me busy as ;-) so am unsure at this stage but would enjoy a break and a fly on those cheapy cheap fares!! (So I can spend more on a Holden Commodore Hire Car and nice hotel of course!)

I love Wellington.

I will be using a long forgotten method of navigation used by the ancient ones. Known as W.O.M. or word of mouth, it involves direct auditory communications with other human beings, many of them strangers, and making a request for information on how to find ones way.

All interested: I have updated the details, in the first post. We have confirmed a few spot prizes.

It would be great to have an early start since the The Last Supper Club has another booking just after ours. We can also extend this somewhere else after (happy to do this).

taniwha: will there be wifi?
Yes, sort of. Telecom New Zealand will participate with a very cool CDMA EV-DO device that comes with an ethernet port. They will plug a Wi-Fi AP, so anyone there will be able to share the access - so bring your laptop, Tablet PC, Palm, Pocket PC...
