Haven't counted yet, and some replied to me via e-mail, but you're welcome. Just confirm please so I can manage the numbers!

Telecom is not sponsoring, but they're active and participating. Very nice of them to be there and to bring the access point so we can be always connected and don't risk missing any e-mails or important posts on Geekzone.

(I would expect a sponsor to come and help with the bill at the end, but I think I will have to do it myself)...

cool. good that we know now, don't want you to fork out the whole CDMA-EVO-D bill by yourself. :-S and also, that would mean people will understand this and limit their use of WIFI. hehehe

Cheerio,
Kel.

Oh, you mean the CDMA EV-DO/Wi-Fi access? Oh, yes Telecom New Zealand is sponsoring it, 100%.

Not able to come, sorry. New job means I have weekend shifts and Massey means that I am kept busy during the day. Otherwise I'd just bus down.

Sorry.

chiefie: so how can we see the counter?
It looks like it will turn 40 million today (10 August 2005, thanks to a small note on Slashdot), just in time to justify the Geekzone Party. Check the OP, I am posting updated screenshots.

On Friday morning I will send an email to everyone who replied to this thread asking for a final confirmation. Or feel free to send me a PM now if you know you're coming for sure. The following list is what I think is confirmed so far:

[The list is now is on the first post, with update, venue and other information]

I am no sure if chris021 is coming or not. I am counting Paradoxsm since it looks like he accepted. Not counting cokemaster. A couple of people sent me PM and I am counting them.

I really would like more people to join us, don't be afraid - it is all good geek stuff there!

Remember: details on the first post of this thread. Please let me know if you are coming or not by posting here or PM.
