bradstewart:

One other thing that is needed.... when we see a list of our blog posts, it shows all posts including those that are no longer shown. It is possible to differentiate between those that are showing and those that are not? Would be very handy

This is done - all posts with the "Display" box unchecked will show in red.

Hey Mauricio, is there something wrong with the blogs? I just posted a new post and it's showing in the list of posts under my profile but not showing on the blog!

I am on the street now but all seem to be working fine. Perhaps you could check start date is not in the future for this post?

Yeah that sorted it out, not sure why it had a future date, maybe I scrolled the dropdown list accidentatly.

I've added a [Delete] checkbox for comments - I've noticed there are already some spam comments (of course not authenticated because the poster used a fake e-mail address) but I got annoyed on seeing the red number indicating non-approved comments.

So now you can "delete" (actually is just hides, I still keep track of all data) the comment and it will not be seen in the list as "waiting moderation".

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

I feel your pain, and that's only when the people behind a platform effectively use it... I noticed that posting a reply comment on your own blog was pain, forcing Geekzone Blog users to go through the moderation process, even though the owner is a "trusted" person.

Because of that I've coded furiously (ok, probably about three lines), and if you are logged in to Geekzone while posting a comment in your own Geekzone Blog it will automatically go into Confirmed/Display status, showing immediately on your blog.

Hope this helps people communicate even better with their readers!

Question about tags: does anyone want them, linking to Technorati (as standard in other blogs)?

Could this list be ordered such that the most recently updated blog appears first, or perhaps if it stays in alphabetical to have the last post date/time indicated?

Would you guys use a "post via e-mail" feature if available?

This way posts could be done from almost anywhere, no special client or browser needed...

I would if I ever went anywhere, but that sounds like an awesome feature to have

Can I get an Amen?

AMEN (With a capital "Hell yes")

Would be nice if it used the subject line for a 'posting' password (to avoid spoof postings), line one of the body to be the post title, and respect quote tags etc?

Also ignoring anything after (and including) "--" (no quotes), means that it would automatically ignore signatures from clients that start their sig with two dashes (a la Gmail etc).

Just my 2 cents... :-P
