Thanks, @maoriboy, for taking the initiative; @Shinychrome's right in saying we've been talking about it for a while, but has politely left out the bit where I said I'd post on here to gauge interest but have completely failed to do so...

Count me in.

Saturday afternoon probably best? Unless we go 1st April I'll probably have to sit this one out due other commitments until late May 😬

What does everyone think about April 1st? It works for me but might be a bit rushed for others?

Also need suggestions for a venue. We could look at Brew Union again, otherwise there is Tony's pizza and craft beer place which opened just recently, The Speedway bar (next to the Cobb), Gravity bar (opposite Brewers Apprentice), Speights Alehouse, or the dirty ol Albert Tavern πŸ˜‚.

That date's fine for me; as for venue, has anyone tried Tony's and if so what was it like?

Brew Union's always a good if safe option as it has a decent vibe, a full range of drinks and an ok selection of food. (And is really PN's only attempt at pretending we can compete with the big smokes!)

Keen for this too. April Fool's Day probably works (unless it's some elaborate prank, of course...)

I've had a few friends go to Tony's and were impressed by the pizza. Large slices and very tasty. Limited menu options though which could be an issue for those gluten intolerant folk among us?

Here's the menu they have online.
Brew Union may be the safer option and probably easier to get a booking in for a large group. We could always wander down the road to checck it out if we get sick of Brew Union as it's pretty close.

I may be available on April the 1st as the long range weather predicts a wall of water from above...

Ok, so April 1st at Brew Union seems to be what we are leaning to. I'll leave this open till tomorrow morning then lock it in for that date. Am thinking from 4.30pm onwards.

At this stage I'm thinking maybe 10 max? If you can confirm your attendance as soon as you can, that would be great.

Thanks for organizing that @maoriboy, +1 for me.

Hadn't heard about Tony's, will have to check that out... with Sal's also opening, Palmy is really becoming spoiled for pizza options! Brew Union is always an easy option, and like last time if they kick us out/drinks too expensive, we can always wander over to the more rustic Speedway Garage or Cobb.
