It's not too late because this isn't a registration thread. You still have to register for the event when registrations open.

Team, we have just confirmed another sponsorship (this one for Auckland only, sorry): Giapo will be present and sponsoring ice cream for all of you present at the event!

If you are an Aucklander you probably know about Giapo's famous gelato. Make sure you visit Giapo's Facebook page and follow Giapo on Twitter.

As a special treat Giapo will create a "geek flavour" for us... I am opening a special discussion to let you help create he Geek Flavour gelato (Giapo).

Hello again... I have now confirmed that Air New Zealand will be sponsoring a few tickets for people attending the event around the country. Later I will open a competition to draw tickets - whoever wins will have a guaranteed seat at the event, no need to pay the deposit and the flights are free!

Keep an eye in our frontpage or Off Topic forum and I will post this soon.

Now that Hotel So is gone, where are people visiting Christchurch planning to stay? We should band together, like we've done in the last few years. Suggestions?
