Why so many pinned topics in some forums? Its getting a bit overwhelming when you need to scroll nearly to the bottom of the page to locate current topics.

It seems most of the pinned topics are quite stale. FAQ's are handy, but it seems a bit pointless having (for example) in the android forum a post about the Galaxy S that was last posted in a year ago....

Archive time for pinned posts? :-)

We do this from time to time... Will get something out of the Android forums for sure.

One forum whose name slips me has a single sticky which contains links to the relevant info threads, concept works quite well and is very tidy
