I no longer receive forum messages notifications from Geekzone. I looked in all my spam and other folders and they either never arrived, or disappeared totally. This is weird, as they are supposed to be sent to my own domain and I am in full control of my Mx records.

I have changed to email address to another name @my_domain.com, but to no avail. I only got that confirmation in my browser
Your profile has been updated, except the e-mail address. An email has been sent to your new e-mail address {another name @my_domain.com} with a special link to the profile page. Click the link on that e-mail to complete your changes.
but of course, since I did not receive that email, I did not click on the link.

Did you check the option not to receive emails from Geekzone?

You control the MX records, but do you run your smtp server? I see lots of servers drop the connection these days. Perhaps a spam feature that's too tight?

I just sent you an e-mail link to an article. Have you received that one?

Thanks for the assistance, Mauricio. Yes, I received your email and, in fact I started receiving Geekzone's emails again.

This is a mystery.

My settings at Geekzone had always been the same, and I had always received email notifications about new messages. Yes, I am quite well in control of my mail at server level. Anyway, it works again for the time being Laughing
