I just posted this and it did not display as expected. Does GZ support unicode character encoding?

I tried to use a character from the "Symbol, Other" category, specifically: U+2713.

Arfghh.. the editor supports it. but when it goes into real life its stripped out..

Working on this at the moment...

No idea when it's coming out but it will require some downtime so that we can update our production database to support multi-byte characters. This will require a 45 minutes outage at some point for release.

LennonNZ and I had both successfully posted Japanese (or, in my case, an approximation of it!) in this thread last year so it used to be possible...

Edit: Testing ??? input ... which obviously didn't work.

If the characters aren't Unicode multibyte then it should be possible.
