Hi,

As a complete aside from the actual topic, I'm thinking of upgrading my very aging Wi-Fi infrastructure at home, and thought the WDR4900 might be a good option.

So, off to do some price comparisons.  Go to GZ's "Price Comparison" site, plug in "WDR4900", and top of the list is "MightyApe", at $195 (more or less).

BUT, going to their actual site, and their price is a fair bit higher.

Now, I can understand if GZ's prices aren't "real time", but that's a quite a difference to have clocked up.  How often does GZ's "price comparison" site update pricing, anyway?

And getting side-tracked again, does anyone know if the WDR4900 actually any good?

(Edit: Try to fix the hyperlinks)

Most don't include gst but I gather that didn't account for the price difference

Good thought; but no; the difference is less than what GST on top of the GZ "price comparison" site would be.

I understand the law requires Consumer prices (which is, after all, what we're dealing with here) to always include GST.  If the sites don't, then they've probably got bigger problems than just this one price being off!
