Does anyone own an Ebookman? Can anyone tell me what they think of their ebookman? Does anyone know where you can buy an Ebookman? :)

Hmmm... Good question. I think they're available at Dick Smith, NZ$ 199 each, but it's a clearance sale... don't think they're not being reordered.

The link is eBookman 900 and they're listed as available in New Lynn, New Plymouth, Wanganui, and Timaru.

About the experience? Anyone else there?

I would suggest you stay away from them. A friend in the UK purchased one when they came out about 18-24 months ago. Used it for about 2-3 weeks and sent it back. It had lots of issues and problems (can't remmeber specifics). I had a play with it as well, and was not overly impressed, but them I am biased anyway.

Hi,

Over here in the States, they have them at JandR.com for $50. It's the 901 version with 8mb and it comes with a slew of accessories.

I mainly got it for use with my Audible.com content for listening to audiobooks. I don't really use it for the PIM functions, although I do have a few programs stored on it. I'll most likely snatch out my 64mb MMC and use it for my soon to arrive Nokia 3650 phone! ;)
