I posted to this thread approx 10 minutes ago:

http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=86&topicid=140812

The post appeared in the thread and I edited it. Sometime after/during/subsequent to the edit the post completely disappeared from the thread.

For the original post I got a post notification through my dummy account:

http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=86&topicid=140812&page_no=1#991552

But the post has disappeared.

It was a really good post!! Can you find it and restore it?

I was easily able to find it in my local cache thanks to Chrome's 'recently closed' feature and I've posted it back. That part is solved, but I'm still curious about what might have happened there in geekzone land.

Wow that's amazing! I never noticed that big red button before : ). I've always asked mods where complete deletion was needed, usually for a duplicate post. Thanks for the info.

Is it relatively new feature?

Gah. Classic case of unused feature blindness. I've used every other button on the page multiple times.
