I have just posted a new subject in the Online Streaming forum titled ' Shortwave DX Scanning', but now I cant edit or delete it. Why?

What have I not done or missed?

I think if you don't have the "trusted" tag you can only edit\delete within a certain time of making the post (like 10 or 15 min?)

You can edit your posts for up to 60 minutes after entering it. After that it's locked for edit. We've done this because there were cases of people writing something and days later going back to change it to the complete opposite then in the discussion saying "you're quoting me wrong, I've never said that".

The post doesn't have the Edit button on the top right or the Compose Reply button at the bottom.  The post for this thread and the secound post in Online Streaming services does.

Ah. Looking at the post I see you did a copy/paste of somethign with screwed up HTML and that broke the page. Edited to remove the bad bits.

OK, but my original post didn't have the edit button or compose reply button at all, right from the time I first posted it.

The buttons at the bottom were gone because of the broken HTML but the EDIT button was showing for me...

Did it show 'Welcome back MaxLB' or 'Guest' at the top of the page during the behavior?
