I finally remembered to use the Amazon affiliate link when buying things from Amazon this time and was wondering how I could know whether it was enabled or not.  There doesn't seem to be any confirmation on the page. 

If I got to the Amazon homepage and put "?tag=geekzone-20" at the end of the URL, will that be enough?  Should there be some kind of confirmation that the affiliate link works?
