Hi Folks,

Just thought I would raise a couple of minor issues with the Geekzone site.   Environment is Surface Pro/Win 8.1/IE 11 - this has been happening for quite some time.

Status bar on browser sometimes vanishes when navigating the site.

On first loading the site it sets the browser scaling to 100% which makes the font unreadable on a surface pro (its like 2pt in real terms).  Zooming the browser to say 125% makes it readable, but if one navigates to a new page in the forums (say page 2), it will reset the scaling back to 100%.  This only appears to occur on first navigation to a page, once it has been viewed, the scaling does not get reset.

If both of the above issues occur at the same time, it becomes difficult to change the browser scaling on the page since the menu for doing so is on the status bar - right side. From an accessibility point of view, this may cause an issue. My own preference is for a site not to try and change browser settings if at all possible.

Regards.
