Just wondering if its appropriate to start a new forum for the topic of Smart Watches.
I dont think there is one currently.
Of course there is prob different OS but we can sort that out later

That seems more a topic for the "Gadgets and Gear" subforum that already exists - which is where smartwatch topics go now.

(My bad, the forum in question is Gadgets, Robotics, Home automation - and the smartwatch topics aren't ending up there, they're in "Android".  That IMO could probably be split in two.  Gadgets and Gear, Home automation and Electronics.  Gadgets and Gear would host this sort of topic)

Too much forum bloat IMHO. I'd rather see fewer than more.

These could go in the existing 'Mobile devices' section under their appropriate OS, don't see a real need for a separate section

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

These either go on Android or... Android (because Tizen is really not a happening thing).

If Apple launches one, it goes on iOS. If Microsoft launches one it goes on Windows Phone (unless it's an Android discussion, then there's that).

I agree with OP - just need a forum for "Watches" for Rolex, Omega, toys (android, tizen) watches

I think that the forum  name for smart watches should be  "Vanity Wear"

Or just tack the words "and Gear" onto the Gadgets forum, and modify the description to include that sort of thing.  (Or make it "and Wearables" or something).

With watches being able to record full hd and soon 4k I'm worried about privacy, oh well no such thing in the near future eh.
