Knowing me I am probably missing something obvious here but is there a setting so that you get sent an email alert when someone PMs you? I have on a number of occasions missed the little yellow envelope by my name (mostly cos I wasn't looking for it) and really just wondered if there was a better way :)

Ummm....  It does already?

(It does for me at any rate!)

Does your email provider have an auto-spam mechanism, and have you checked the spam folder?

Well spotted. For some reason they are being classed as spam by the clearnet mail system. maybe time I change the email address I use :) I never suspected this because I get the other Geekzone emails.

I don't know the clearnet system; but most modern systems let you mark mails as "not spam", and the system learns from that and should automatically unblock future mails (it may take a time or two)...

I just changed my email address. I am trying to slowly move all email away from using ISP provided addresses so this was just another one crossed off the list :)

I'm on ClearNet and haven't received PM notifications by email for nearly a year now.

I let Clear and Vodafone know about this, and that other GeekZone mails and Forum reply notifications come through perfectly fine.

Beats me.

Yeah. forums@geekzone seem to come through fine but mail@geekzone does not.

Same thing here.  I had to change my email address for PM emails to start working again yet forum notifications always worked fine.  Freitsam told me the issue must be at my end.
