I've noticed some old threads have become active again and emails are coming through again.
Is there a way to do a blanket turn off of email notifications for those of us that haven't properly managed these in the past? Disabling notifications on a thread by thread basis is great, if you do it religiously from the start. Once you end up with years of posts it becomes a nightmare. Is there a reset button I am not seeing?

Feature request - it would be great if, when we select email notification on a thread, we could set a time limit. Some discussions are kind of time limiting in themselves and being able to select, "email if a new post is made within 3 months" or whatever would be great.

Or being able to open a page of all subscriptions which is sortable and select all able, with an unsub button?

Each notification email has a second line:

"This e-mail was sent because you are subscribed to this discussion at Geekzone. If you want to remove this notification, please click the link below: [link]"

No thread visit required.

I can put a link to do that - in the meantime if you want to be removed from EVERYTHING and start fresh just send me a PM.

That would be ideal.

The problem with that is the link takes you to the login. Assuming you have the Geekzone login on the device from which you are reading the email it's easy enough to login and remove the subscription BUT it is time consuming. Otherwise, if you don't have the login from that particular device then you have to remember to go back to the already-read email just to deal with the subscription.
Having the ability to start over periodically, or mass remove subscriptions would bring this forum closer to perfection ;)

Excellent.  (Typo in 2nd section - extra c in subscribing)
Will there also be an option to list all the current subscriptions, to allow selective unsubscribing, as mentioned by scottjpalmer?

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

There's a page (http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forumlist.asp?) already linked from your profile that allows you to manage Forum Watch. I will change it to also manage Forum Auto Subscribe.

Individual topics is harder - you might have hundreds, if not thousands. It's easier to unsubscribe to all of them or unsubscribe from individual emails when received.

Thanks! Sorted me in a jiffy, though now hoping that the live page works independently as that's how I manage my content viewing here now :)

Following up to my last post, thankfully GZ Live still works well, and so do PM notifications.

As an aside, what chance we could at least get the PM header in the 'you've got mail' notice please?
Better yet, just 'forward' the whole message to my email and I only need login to reply PM! :)

@freitasm is this possible/easy?

Problem is the chance of getting emails classed as spam by some services.
