Hello!

Does anyone have any idea why the RSS feed for my GeekZone blog would not be created? I went to the blog configuration, where it provides me with the following two RSS related options:

Enable RSS feeds :     [ tick ]  (Your feed is currently not available. It will be created after you update the Geekzone Blog configuration)

Enable RSS Full Text   [ tick ]

Both of those RSS options are enabled. I clicked 'update' many times, but still, no RSS feed icon appears on my blog page.

Is there something incredibly obvious that I am completely overlooking?

Thank you very much...

This is a problem with FeedBurner and I am contacting them... Once fixed you will be able to create the RSS feed.

Ah, thank you.

Since I have set all the RSS options to 'on' already, will it just appear automatically, or will I need to perform some extra steps whenever the problem is fixed?

I will post here when they reply with a fix... Then you just need to click "Update" again in the blog configuration page.

Thank you for posting the original question.  I was experiencing the same difficulties and just thought I was doing something wrong!  I look forward to enabling it as soon as FeedBurner is working again.

I wonder whether this has got anything to do with Google recently buying FeedBurner?  If so, then it isn't only Yahoo and Xtra that have mating problems!

I am told this is now solved, with the limit bumped up to a very high number. Please click UPDATE in the Blog Config pages.

Thank you for looking into this. Sadly, it still doesn't seem to work.

Could it be that it takes a while to take effect? Or is the RSS feed only generated once I have created a new post or something?

Because, I went to my blog configuration page, made sure both RSS tick-marks were checked and pressed Update. I reloaded my blog page, but still there was no RSS icon anywhere. Also, when I then go back to my blog configuration page, it still tells me (about my 'Enable RSS feed' option):
(Your feed is currently not available. It will be created after you update the Geekzone Blog configuration)
Sigh...
