I'm seeing a couple of warnings a week in gmail android app, topic notifications for geekzone threads

This mail contains content that is generally used to steal personal information.

Anyone else getting that? Any ideas?

No idea why Gmail is doing that.

Yeah I haven't looked at it closely. Could be app only.

I haven't seen it happening in my Gmail either. Is it happening for all your topic notifications, or just some specific ones? There might be some trigger words involved maybe.

Not likely. Google Postmaster tells us the spam reporting rate for our domains is nonexistent.

Very few. Opening the same notification twice and the message will usually go away. So it maybe a dynamic process. I will post the next example.

I had this happen today. One of the thread notification emails had links that weren't active (in Inbox by Gmail, no other indication of an issue). I opened it in Gmail (web) and there was a notice that it looked suspicious but came from a trusted recipient. I chose the option to trust this email and everything was fine. No idea what the underlying issue is. Can someone use the "report phishing" option, is that the same as spam reporting?
