The subject line says it all: Is it possible to display a list of my recent blog posts in the side bar of the blog pages?

Just create a new list - there's a type that lists the ten most recent entries in your blog.

I have created the list item, but for some reason it doesn't seem to show.

Is it only accumulating items from the time it was created?
