Didn't really want a new thread...

The geekzone 'gadget' loaded and worked the first time. Then failed to load and balloned to a 400Mb process chewing up all my ram all the other times?

An install shield window also opens 'offscreen'  with a instace name 'XZCXVC... something'  no other details or links involved...
So I killed it...  I hope it died.

Is this my fault for running vista?    I Couldn't tell if the two were related but it was too coincidental.

Ta.

Probably something else... There's no "install" for the Gadget at all.

I run it on my laptop, which stays on for days and haven't seen anything about memory leaking. I suggest you run an AV and antispyware scan on your system.
