I know that the banners are usually messages you'd like everyone to read, but it can get a bit much when there's more than one banner up there taking up space. Is it possible we could get a "Dismiss" option so that if we decide that we don't want to act on it, then we can hide it from view? Even if it's more of a "Remind me in 24 hours" option that makes it go away for the day that would be OK.

Thoughts? Yay? Nay?

I don't mind them..except for the colour...particularly the current combination. "Jarring" would be my description.

I haven't put an option to dismiss but will show the notices ten times and then hide. How's that?

Except for the "Thanks for testing webpass.io" because this is an indication the service is working, during trial - not everyone sees it.

F5 a few times gets rid of them, as per the 10 view limit that you put in place :)

I use UBlock Origin on Chrome, right click annoying banner, click block element and then create. I agree, it would be good that once you click on them they could go away.

On mobile they do not bother me. They are at top of page and quickly gone.

A infrequent random appearance for return visitors might be the way for desktop use.

i keep seeing these. ive done plenty of normal browsing around but it seems that if i view the site in the morning then come back in the afternoon the banners are back

ive read them, i know what they say, i dont really need to keep seeing them again

The cookie use to control this has no expiry. This means it will be deleted when the browser is closed, so it starts again from 0 the next time you open a new browser.

right, kinda silly to stop showing it after x number of time, but re-enable it after the browser has been closed

i understand you want people to see that info but the ability dismiss it for good would be nice
