Is there anything I need to do special to get the forums feeds to show up in feedDemon (desktop version or web based).

I've added a couple of the forums, but they never seem to have anything in them.

We block the Newsgator server. We raised a fault with them a few months ago, where their servers would initiate a feed refresh on Geekzone - all feeds at the same time, every five minutes causing all sorts of problems.

They never solved the problem so we had to block their IP address.

If you feel this is a problem, please I urge you to contact Newsgator and tell them the situation and to contact me to work on a fix.

You might be able to pass the feed through http://www.feedburner.com or yahoo pipes to transforn the feed to work with your choice of reader.

I can try unblocking it now and see if it performs better than last time, seeing we have a new OS, etc..

No didn't know about that one. 

Maybe i should just use that and filter out some of the stuff I'm not interested in.  Rather than hitting the server mulitple time like i would have been doing with the individual forums.
