Currently, posts have date stamps like "6-Nov-2014 19:21"

Would it be possible to include the day of the week, eg: "Thu 6-Nov-2014 19:21" as sometimes I find it useful to know what day of the week that an older post was made on.

Came expecting timezone user config issues, was surprised with a good suggestion.

Sounds like a good suggestion. I am thinking of making that area taller to move the buttons so that could fit in...
