Instead of using the search geekzone (via google) option which searches all articles etc.. is there a way to search just forum posts?

Is it an admin or Greasemonkey thing...? Because I can't see nothing.

Hmmmm.... didn't realise the general population didn't have that tool - I just logged out and looked, and lo and behold, it was gone.

I will ask Mauricio to knock up a native site search with options tonight Innocent

But seriously, I am not sure of any way for you guys to search forums only. Maybe this search box can be given to all users?

Just add site:geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp to the Google search and that will limit it to those forums pages only. Same if you do for site:geekzone.co.nz/content.asp or site:geekzone.co.nz/blog.asp...

Google already provides a much better index than we could provide ourselves - I just posted a tip in my previous reply on how to do it...

Why not make a page where we could select what we could search (through a Google gadget)

I (and many others) wouldn't want to manually do it myself ;)

Google Search is powerful. Any option you can enter on the standard Google Search homepage will work here. There are too many options to add...
