GZ has been IP6 for ages, at my old workplace I was IP6 all the time. I turned it off at home, it has no practical use yet - anything on IP6 is still on IP4. All my websites are on IP6 though, just because CloudFlare does it by default.

Yes, we had IPv6 since at least 2010 when hosting with ICONZ (we have been colocating at Datacom for abour five years now). We also have DNSSEC, and looking at NZ stats I think I alone have about 20% of the domains using DNSSEC in New Zealand (thanks to Cloudflare and Metaname).

Where did you find these stats? I believe I have had DNSSEC for a number of years now.

I was going to enable DNSSEC as I use CloudFlare, but 1st domains doesn't appear to support it - though I've sent a query to ask. I set up up for one .com on NameCheap, but they did it manually I think.

Not many registrars support DNSSEC in New Zealand. I had to actually ask Metaname to implement an extra algorithm so that they could be used with Cloudflare.
Stats from Internet Data Portal. Ok, we are not 20% but the number of DNSKEY is ridiculously low. Also low is number of ISPs with DNS that actually check that.

If you're wanting to know more about IPv6 I'd recommend checking this out: https://ipv6.he.net/certification/
To put it in a nutshell IPv6 is the successor of IPv4 and has been around for a number of years. The biggest provider in NZ of IPv6 addressing to consumers is 2degrees since (by default) their Fritz!Boxen are configured for IPv6 + they've offered it since the early Snap days.
Oh, and for those who achieve the "Sage" level on HE's certification site you get a free tshirt.

How do you find Metaname? Decent web UI? Pricing is fine, so if I want to do DNSSEC I'd probably have to move there.

The UI is minimal but really good. You have to prepay your account but not a big deal - I used PayPal funds but could be credit card or cheque. You have to enable the DNSSEC options in your account profile so that they appear in the domain management.
I have transferred all my .nz domains from iServe to Metaname now and all of them have DNSSEC enabled.
