Ive seen this issue for some time, not sure if it is widespread or not but i never receive Email notifications for DM's

I get them for posts that i sub to or reply on.... All email notifications are switched on.

Anyone else have this issue?

I have people complaining about this to then realise the had created an Outlook rule to move emails from the notification address to a folder - one they never checked. OR simply blocked the email address. Or reported as spam and then all notifications went into spam folders...

Im on gmail, no rules or filters setup to send geekzone notifications anywhere,

Notifications for forum posts work perfectly fine. No messages in my spam folder from geekzone...

Happened to me all the time, and found that when I looked at my web-mail access the emails were sitting in the Spam Folder .... I'm on Vodafone/Clear.

Had lengthy discussion with Vodafone and seems that these particular emails go to Spam, and therefore not picked up by my email client. I was advised to use their reporting system to ensure Geekzone stuff was no longer identified as such.

I did this several times, and recently email notifications of private messages started showing up correctly, BUT it is quite random if I get it or not.

I dont use a mail client for my gmail, so my primary access is via web browser or android phone.

Spam is very easy to see on the gmail web interface so it does appear that the notifications are not even making it to my mailbox.

I looked through our logs and there is no error delivering messages to your email provider, which is a cloud service.

If you can't find it in your spam folders then I suggest you try temporarily changing email addresses to see if you receive messages on another address.
