Hi,

There are links to GeekZone blogs on the home page, but I'm sure there are many more NZ geek/tech/IT bloggers who use other hosting providers. Would GZ consider including some of those blogs' feeds on the home page as well? I think that will help increase exposure to other quality local content.

I recently started blogging on www.coderfrontline.com so this request is completely self-serving innocent.

There would need to be an initial moderation step to ensure they are local/GZ bloggers and writing original content, so I understand if mods are not keen on it.

Short answer: no.

Long answer: the homepage is a gateway to Geekzone content, not an index (like Yahoo! used to be, many many years ago). However we do have content from one other blog - Bill Bennett's own. In that case it's not a link to his blog but Bill Bennett's content is syndicated on Geekzone, with attribution and link back.

Thanks for the clarification. I don't suppose a blog will qualify for syndication as it's not news per-se?
