Got autologged out before hitting 'send' on a PM, now I have to remember everything I said and type it again. Would be nice if it'd saved the message when asking me to login again when I pressed send. Gah, organising stuff with people makes me anxious enough as it is, my brain finally decides to work long enough to say what I need to say and then 'poof!', it's gone.

:(.

Frustrating yes.

One easy fix from old school webmail days is to compose it in Word or similar and then copy paste when done.

I'm in the habit of always doing this if I'm writing a long message (but in notepad++ since it's way lighter than Word :p )

I just compose in the reply box but do Cmd-A, Cmd-C before submitting.

Yeah I'd normally do that, or just copy the message before hitting post just in case. Total brain fart on my part, totally avoidable. But yeah, some sites auto save draft or or something so that messages aren't lost when something goes wrong; and I think having a feature to save a message in limbo if send is pressed when login timed out would be a nice feature to have here. Is it feasible and/or worth the time to code and/or even desirable to the powers that be? I've no idea. Would've saved me a small largely self inflicted headache today though.

If you used Chrome or Firefox, you can get Lazarus: Form Recovery extension. Highly recommended.

This used to always happen to me when listing something on TradeMe.
