So I am a good Geekzoner and have whitelisted the site in my Ad Blocker...

I was a little surprised to see a biggish picture of some blonde chick in her undies with the cleavage dialled up to 11 hawking $10 body suits...not really the most work-appropriate thing to flash up on the screen over lunch, nor I guess the most useful targeted ad for the typical denizen of Geekzone...unless I have the really wrong idea about most of you.

Is this actively managed or is it inevitable that the odd clunker will get through?

It is both actively managed and inevitable that the odd clunker will get through.

Remember a lot of the ads are a consequence of sites you visited before. For example if you visited a sports or swimwear site then and ad for that will show up.

The best you can do is click the blue arrow and select the opt-out of targeted ads. This will prevent target ads from appearing.

Also if you right click and copy the link you can send that to me via PM and I can block it.

Yes, but it's been a very long time since I visited their website.

Wow, what a name for a womens clothing company! Don't think they would get away with a name like that in NZ.

Ironically perhaps, that same chick in the black outfit just showed up on Stuffed when I looked at a news story about the Napier-Taihape road. Those guys there don't care what ads they serve up.

Yep she's showing up for me on several sites. Not sure which site I went to have her show up, think it's just in the random pool feed

I honestly don't see the issue here. Yes, the company name is ridiculous and disgusting but what is the problem with the picture? There is nothing obscene or suggestive about it. People get way too uptight about human flesh. Sometimes Kiwis seem as repressed as the English.

Did you read the OP? Thought it was fairly clear. I don't recall at any point calling it out as "obscene" or anything close.

I also don't see anything particularly inappropriate about it, other than the idiotic name of the company.
